Our Elders
An elder is a pastor who shepherds through protecting, teaching, leading, managing, and caring for the needs of Jesus' people (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4).
Jesse Smout
Originally from Montana, Jesse moved to Ogden while in elementary school. Jesse felt the call to pastoral ministry while still a young teenager. Leading Bible studies, and serving as a Youth Pastor before stepping in to the lead Pastoral role in 2020.
Outside of pastoring, Jesse enjoys coffee in the mornings, disc golf and camping. Jesse is married to his high school sweetheart, Cecelia. They have two boys together: Luke and Samuel.

Deacons are church servants who support its mission through practical service and ministry, embodying Christ's example (Acts 6:1-7, 1 Timothy 3:8-13). They assist in various tasks, demonstrating humility, integrity, and a heart for serving others.
